Our fishing lake is 4 acres in size and ranges from 3ft to over 10ft deep.

You can choose to fish anywhere around the lake, or if you’re staying in the gite you can fish from the end of your garden!

There are four swims and the lake is best suited for up to 3 anglers (4 at a push). Two of the swims are quite close on the far bank so very social if that is the way you wish to fish. The banks themselves are a mixture of open grass areas and tree lined.

The lake is spring-fed and 6-8 feet in depth all over, carp are landed from the platforms as the depth falls quickly from the edge of the lake. There are a couple of small lily-beds in the centre of the lake which provide features to fish to. It is all fairly straight forward Carp fishing France.

There is the odd crayfish, which have not caused anglers any major issues, and no poisson chat.

You can use baitboats and the lake has a small rowing boat (lifejackets provided) which can be used responsibly by anglers with prior consent.

Since owning the lake we have added to the original stock with over 100 mirror and common carp up to 35lb.

There is plenty of sport to be had here and you will want to come back for more.
